Note: This activity is designed to give you practice in creating a WBS Dictionary, which you will do for your final project in Milestone One.
For an introduction to the WBS, complete the Module Two WBS Dictionary Template for an upcoming dinner. This WBS Dictionary should detail the steps involved in planning and executing a dinner for your family, including the tasks and resources. This template will be the basis for another assignment during Module Five. (You might want to look at the Module Five Activity Guidelines and Rubric to see how that project is set up.)
Within the template is a link to a demonstration video that further describes the template and the assignment. The focus here is for you to gain an understanding of the tool. See the below example videos for background information regarding a WBS:
