We are in a world where every person strives to be a better person. A world full of fun and challenges, the rich strive to make more money, which makes them insecure and unsatisfied yet still look for more. The poor likewise strive to be like the rich. We are in a planet where population growth affects the environment by influencing learning in three different dimensions: human wellbeing, human rights and environmental protection. This paper focuses on one major thing one can do to make the world a better place.
Middleton (2007) in his research states that leadership is a great influence to the society and the whole world. The world can be a better place if the society and the world at large choose great leaders to lead the planet. Maxwell (2013) studied then stated that uncorrupt leaders are a blessing and influences positively the world. They will preach love and kindness, they will empower new generation, they will look for better ways to improve health services and create more job opportunities, they would improve technology and recognize everyone in the world as a person with dignity, ability and talent rather than statistics.
Love and kindness are as important as it enables one to forgive in case one wrongs you and be good to a person even if he/she wronged you. This enables the world to have peace, harmony and unity. Great leaders ensure that every person in the planet is able to get and afford quality health services to bring up strong and healthy generation. Empowering the youth and new generation is critical because it makes them believe in themselves.
In conclusion the power to change and improve the world is in our own hands, we can choose great leader, we can have leaders whom influence the world positively and can make the world a better place.
