INTERVIEWER 2: Yeah, go ahead. INTERVIEWEE: I’ve run some resumes. 0: 26 INTERVIEWER 2: We’ve already got copies of them, though. 0:28 Don’t worry about it. 0:32 INTERVIEWER 1: We’re a really busy department and don’t have much time to waste so go ahead and 0:35 tell us a little bit about yourself. 0:37 INTERVIEWEE: Okay I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, back in the 1950s, and, you know, glad 0:46 to say that I served in the National Guard and despite my learning disability I was 0:53 able to get my degree 0:54 with a little bit of help with my from a family. You know, I’ve got a 0:59 wife and three kids and they helped out some. You know, this job is really important to me. 1:06 You know, I realized after my last stint in rehab that I really needed some 1:13 help, and so I talked to my rabbi, and he helped me out a lot, you know. He’s really helping 1:17 me to see what’s important, you know. I started deer hunting a lot, you 1:22 know. Love to deer hunt. I was just a really good shot and really 1:27 enjoy that kind of stuff. 1:35 You know, I really need this job because, you know, I need the money. 1:38 My meds are really expensive, so I really need this job. 1:43 INTERVIEWER 4: Meds? What kind of meds are you on? 1: 46 INTERVIEWEE: Well several of them, you know, they’re really expensive. 1:51 INTERVIEWER 3: But, by the way…well never mind. 1:56 INTERVIEWER 1: Alright, this organization has a lot of high-energy Millennials. Who are, you know, 2:02 really fast-tracked. So, how do you feel about working with younger individuals? 2:06 INTERVIEWEE: I’m not that old. I mean, you know, I can keep up, I can carry my weight. 2:12 INTERVIEWER 3: Well, tell us just how old you are. 2:16: INTERVIEWEE: How old would I need me to be to get the job? 2:19 INTERVIEWER 2: Well, that’s not what I asked. 2:22 INTERVIEWEE: Well, you know. 2:24 INTERVIEWER 2: Well, let’s go on to the next question, okay. 2:26 INTERVIEWER 1: Alright, we want you to know that this job requires you to really relocate to our 2:31 location. So since you live in Ohio, how will your wife and family feel 2:37 about you moving down here? Will they want to move to this part of the country? 2:41 INTERVIEWEE: Well, we really haven’t discussed that.
