Go to the Room for Debate section of the New York Times and look for a debate that concerns a policy issue that we have covered in Modules 1-3. Then, do the following: Summarize the gist of the debate by identifying the issue, and summarizing what each of the discussants has to say. Be sure to identify the debaters/discussants when you present their argument. Your initial post must also clearly identify the issue in question in your textbook (chapter, page), and should then discuss how the debate relates to the discussion in your textbook. Does the debate agree or disagree in part or wholly with your book? Does it extend and add to what is covered in the book in any way?
